The Bridge is called Rakotzbrücke (Rakotz Bridge), popularly known as the Devil's Bridge, and was built in 1860. Basalt stones were brought by bullock carts from various quarries of Saxon Switzerland and Bohemia. The hexagonal basalt columns were used to build caves and pyramids, bridges and various other things inside the park.
